Purpose

The Trull Foundation provides funding to nonprofits and other eligible organizations for projects in Texas that address the Foundation's focus areas, which include support for:

  • Children in rural areas, especially related to issues of abuse, neglect, hunger, and poverty
  • Individuals and families affected by substance abuse
  • The specific needs of residents of the Palacios, Texas area
  • The coastal Texas environment, including water issues, estuaries, birds, agriculture, and aquaculture
Eligibility

Eligible applicants include:

  • Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status
  • Departments, agencies, and other services operated within federal, state, or local government agencies
  • Institutions and agencies affiliated with organized religions and religious bodies

Award amounts are not specified. Historically, the most common grant range is from $5,000 to $10,000.
