The Michigan Center for Rural Health offers a 40-hour leadership program designed to prepare participants in Michigan to lead and manage rural EMS agencies.
The Leadership Academy will be held July 9-13, 202 at the Northern Michigan University's Northern Center in Marquette, Michigan.
Academy goals include:
- Motivate and build enthusiasm in people to become leaders
- Create a starting point for positive leadership that is grounded in building amazing cultures and workplaces
- Inspire a new vision in leaders to see themselves as successful influencers
- Help leaders cultivate a sustainable and healthy practice of leadership
- Arm leaders with practical resources, skills and tools to start being positive and effective organizational change agents
- Unite the leadership team around a shared leadership approach and language
The course is designed for individuals in rural EMS organizations with management and leadership responsibilities, including supervisors, coordinators, managers, directors and executives.
The maximum course enrollment is 26.
