Purpose

The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation offers grants to charitable organizations providing healthcare services in rural and urban areas of Utah.

Funding may be used for equipment, facilities, and program support for those involved in medical diagnosis, treatment and education, disease prevention, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, and the development of creative new ways to address healthcare challenges.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are charitable organizations:

  • Whose efforts are focused principally within Utah
  • With a history of achievement, effectiveness, and good management demonstrating a sound financial condition
  • That make a distinctive contribution to the community without unnecessarily duplicating other services or programs already in place

Application process

Submit a letter of inquiry through the online portal. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and reviewed quarterly.
