The Rural Primary Health Care Act (RPHCA) Program provides funding to sustain a minimum level of delivery of primary care services in healthcare underserved areas of New Mexico.
Eligible applicants are New Mexico non-profit community-based entities, local governments, and tribal governments that provide primary healthcare services to underserved areas in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
All RPHCA funded clinics must utilize sliding fee scales and cannot turn away patients solely based on their inability to pay.
Award amounts vary depending on need.
