Purpose

The American Hospital Association (AHA) NOVA Awards recognize innovative collaborations in which hospitals are engaged to bring better health to the populations they serve.

Awards will be given to AHA member hospitals and healthcare systems that:

  • Work collaboratively through joint efforts among healthcare systems or hospitals, or among hospitals and other community leaders and organizations
  • Work to improve community health status through healthcare, economic, and/or social initiatives
  • Engage community members to identify issues and co-design solutions or interventions

Awards will be presented at the AHA Health Equity Conference that will take place May 20-22, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Eligibility

The hospital or health system submitting the application must be an AHA member. All hospital, health system, and community partners involved in the collaborative program must submit letters of support with the application.
