Purpose

The Jenco Awards are monetary awards that recognize visionary leaders who contribute to the quality of life of individuals living in Appalachian Ohio.

Nominations are encouraged across all areas essential to quality of life, including:

  • Health
  • Human services
  • Education
  • Environmental stewardship
  • Community and economic development
  • Arts and culture
Eligibility

Eligible nominees include all individuals, paid employees or volunteers, who contribute to quality of life of in Appalachian Ohio.

Amount of funding

Award amounts vary based on annual allocation and the number of awards given each year.

Awards have no restrictions on the use of the funds.
