New York Health Leadership Fellows
The New York Health Leadership Fellows program provides an 18-month fellowship for current and potential executives of health-related nonprofit organizations, safety-net organizations, and public agencies in western and central New York that address the needs of vulnerable older adults or young children impacted by poverty.
The fellowship will include:
- Four (4) residential sessions that are 2-3 days each and three day-long seminars
- Ongoing, small team collaborative projects
- Executive coaching and research/ academic support
- A designated website for networking, collaboration, and group learning
Eligible applicants are professionals from the Foundation's service area who are in decision-making positions of influence in health-related or safety-net organizations serving vulnerable older adults or children impacted by poverty. Preferred participants will have at least 5 years in a management role and have a strong commitment to and involvement with their local communities.
Independent consultants do not meet the eligibility criteria for the program.
Fellowship expenses are covered by the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York.
