The New Mexico Hero of Health Award honors individuals working to make a significant difference in the heath of communities in New Mexico.
The award has 2 tracks. Track 1 is the traditional award, and Track 2 is for youth, aged 25 and under.
Preference will be given to nominees whose work is consistent with Con Alma's mission and core values.
Heroes can come from any field, including healthcare, teachers, volunteers, custodians, child-care staff, nursing-home aides, food-distribution workers, bus drivers, support staff at hospitals, clinics and schools, and other essential workers who have contributed to New Mexico's well-being.
A $1,000 donation will be given to a New Mexico nonprofit of the honoree's choosing.
A link to the online nomination form is available on the program website.
