DTA Foundation Grants are given to projects and research designed to increase access to and utilization of oral healthcare. Priority will be given to pilots and seed funding grants to projects that can leverage additional funding and expansion in other geographic areas, similar to incubator programs.
Activities include:
- Strategic partnerships
- Research
- Education
Applications will be ranked and awarded based on:
- Innovation, originality, and creativity
- Ability to attract additional funding following pilot completion or build-up
- Sustainability of the program past the funding period
- Ability to use project as a model program for expansion in other geographic areas
- Potential impact on target audience
Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to:
- Organizations with 501(c)(3), 501(c)(6), or 509(a) status
- Universities
- Government agencies
Award amounts are not stated. Historically, the average award is $22,000.
