Wisconsin Top Rural Development Initiative Awards
The Top Rural Development Initiative Awards recognize programs that exemplify positive community impacts, regional success stories, and/or demonstrate innovative ideas impacting communities in rural Wisconsin.
Initiatives can be in community development, agriculture, business, education, health, energy, environment, philanthropy, tourism, community resiliency, or any other field.
Winning nominations will have:
- Strong partnerships
- Collaborative decision‐making
- Widespread and long‐term positive impact
- Innovation
Anyone living in or serving rural Wisconsin can nominate an initiative. Any project, activity, or even a whole community in rural Wisconsin is eligible. Rural is defined as an area with a population of under 10,000 that is not adjacent to an urban center.
Awards are honorary.
