Rural Access to Anesthesia Care Scholarship
The Rural Access to Anesthesia Care Scholarship provides stipend scholarships for medical students to complete a rural rotation designed to teach future physicians about anesthesia in rural areas. Applicants will work with a mentor at a designated rural site.
Applicants must be a third or fourth year medical student in an approved U.S. program and a medical student member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).
Students will receive a stipend up to $500 to pay for travel and lodging expenses.

Applications may be submitted throughout the year based on this schedule:
- By January 1 for a March 1 or later rotation
- By April 1 for a June 1 or later rotation
- By July 1 for a September 1 or later rotation
- By October 1 for a December 1 or later rotation
