Minnesota Rural Health Awards

Minnesota Rural Health Awards honor individuals and teams for outstanding contributions to rural health in Minnesota. Awards fall under the categories:
- Hero Award - an individual
- Team Award - a team or group of people
- Lifetime Achievement Award – an individual at the “end” of their career
Nominees may have contributed to rural health in any capacity: through a volunteer or paid position, as a healthcare provider or non-provider, in policy or through practice.
Areas of impact could include but are not limited to:
- Rural health policy
- Legislation
- Education
- Patient care
- Healthcare systems
Awards will be announced on National Rural Health Day, which is November 21, 2024.
Any individual or team is eligible if they have contributed to rural health in the state.
These are honorary awards.
