Purpose

The Flex program will provide funding for Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) in rural North Dakota for the following focus areas:

  • Financial or operational area for improvement
  • Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) implementation
Eligibility

All North Dakota Critical Access Hospitals (CAH) are eligible to apply. A CAH may submit more than one application; however, may only have one active subcontract for each area of focus.

Amount of funding

Two awards are available for up to $10,000 for financial or operational improvement areas.

Three awards are available for up to $5,000 for Community Health Needs Assessment implementation.
