The Rescue Squad Assistance Fund (RSAF) Grant Program provides matching grants for Virginia governmental, volunteer, and nonprofit EMS agencies and organizations.
Funding may be used for:
- Establishment of a new EMS agency, program, or service where needed to improve emergency medical services offered in an area
- Expansion or improvement of an existing EMS agency, program, or service
- Replacement of equipment or procurement of new equipment
- Establishment, expansion, or improvement of EMS training programs
Any Virginia government, volunteer, and nonprofit agency/organization involved in emergency medical services (EMS) exclusively for the benefit of the general public is eligible to apply. Applicants may be licensed EMS agencies and non-licensed EMS agencies.
Awards will not exceed the maximum dollar amount per category on the Consolidated Grants Product Price List.
