Grant to improve access to integrated and coordinated treatment and recovery services for substance use disorder, including opioid use disorder, for people living in rural areas.

Adult Treatment Court Site-Based Inactive
Grants and technical assistance to enhance the operations of adult drug courts, which includes service coordination, management of treatment court participants, fidelity to the model, and recovery support services. Courts should integrate evidence-based substance abuse treatment, random drug testing, equitable sanctions and incentives, and transitional services in judicially-supervised court settings with jurisdiction over offenders to reduce recidivism, substance abuse, and prevent overdoses. Rural communities are a program priority.

Building Communities of Recovery Inactive
Grants to support the development, enhancement, expansion, and delivery of recovery support services and recovery education for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental disorders. Rural populations are a priority.

Distance Learning and Telemedicine Program Grants Inactive
Grants to improve telemedicine and distance learning services in rural areas through the use of telemedicine, computer networks, and related advanced technologies.

First Responders - Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act Grants Inactive
Funding to support first responders and members of other key community sectors on training, administering, and distributing naloxone and other Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved overdose reversal medications or devices. Funding is set aside for recipients serving rural communities.

Provider's Clinical Support System - Universities Inactive
Funding to support graduate-level education for students in medical, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, and other eligible advanced practice nursing programs with a focus on treating opioid use disorders and prescribing medications for opioid use disorder in office-based settings upon graduation. Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Tribal Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-serving Institutions, and Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-serving Institutions are encouraged to apply.
