A multidisciplinary certificate program for health professions students that offers opportunities for hands-on training, experience in rural and underserved communities, and networking with other students and professionals. The WWAMI Area Health Education Center Network serves Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho.

Wyoming J-1 Conrad 30 Visa Waiver Program
Offers a J-1 Visa waiver to foreign physicians who commit to serving for 3 years in an underserved area of Wyoming, allowing them to remain in the United States.

Native Led Social Justice Organizing Grant Inactive
Funding for social justice organizing projects by native led grassroots organizations in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and/or Wyoming that conduct most of their work in reservation communities and/or rural, small town communities.

Union Pacific Foundation Community Ties Giving Program: Local Grants Inactive
Grants to nonprofits to support direct services and capacity building efforts aimed at improving the quality of life in communities served by Union Pacific in the areas of safety, workforce development, community vitality, and environmental sustainability. Special emphasis is given to programs and organizations that advance the diversity, equity, and inclusion of underserved populations in target communities. Rural communities are a priority.

Radiation Exposure Screening and Education Program Inactive
Grants to support healthcare organizations in providing medical screenings to qualifying individuals for cancer and other radiogenic diseases; creating education programs and sharing public information on radiogenic diseases; providing referrals and follow-up services for medical treatment; and facilitating documentation of Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) claims.

Native American Affairs: Emergency Drought Relief for Tribes Inactive
Funding for eligible tribes that are impacted by the operation of reclamation water projects with near-term drought relief projects and to assist eligible tribes to develop, manage, and protect their water and related resources to mitigate the adverse impacts of drought.

Funding for the development and offering of learning opportunities for professionals working in public health or community health in Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, or Wyoming.

Student Leaders in Public Health Program Inactive
Awards for college students to support public health focused field placements and faculty-student collaborative projects. Field placements working with medically underserved, rural, and tribal populations are encouraged.
