Assessing Fidelity of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Rural VA Clinics: Design of a Randomized Implementation Effectiveness (Hybrid Type III) Trial

Reports on a study to redesign the CALM (coordinated anxiety learning and management) tool for cognitive behavioral therapy to meet the needs of mental health clinicians working in Veteran Affairs (VA) community-based outpatient clinics (CBOC) treating rural veterans. Also assesses the best method for future implementation of the CALM tool among mental health providers in rural VA CBOCs.
