Injection Drug Use and Overdose among Young Adults Who Use Prescription Opioids Non-Medically

Examines the injection drug use of non-medical prescription opioids by young adults, age 18-29, in Rhode Island. Correlates certain characteristics including race, rural residency, homelessness, previous arrests, childhood physical, sexual and emotional abuse, and experiences with accidental overdose to a high prevalence of lifetime injection drug misuse.
