Reports on the annual number and age-adjusted rate of drug overdose deaths, analyzing data between both 2013 and 2017 and also between 2016 and 2017. Includes all opioids and prescription opioids, and heroin and synthetic opioids other than methadone. Includes statistics with breakdowns by metropolitan, micropolitan, and noncore areas in addition to 34 states.
