Reports on a national rental housing study detailing the
severity of the housing crisis experienced by low-income
people with disabilities in metropolitan and
nonmetropolitan statistical areas across the U.S.
Particular focus is on non-elderly adults with disabilities
who rely on Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Discusses
how limited income and substandard housing places people
with disabilities at greater risk of exacerbated chronic
health conditions.
