Provides an overview of the residents of Klamath County,
Oregon, including the Klamath tribes, coming together as a
community and forming the Healthy Klamath coalition to
create healthier communities. Discusses community efforts
to address the behavioral and physical healthcare needs of
the Klamath tribes. Describes local efforts to promote
healthcare careers to high school students and how the
community offers scholarships to improve graduation rates.
Klamath County is a recipient of the 2018 Robert Wood
Johnson Foundation's Culture of Health Prize.
