University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Regional Campuses (UAMS Regional Campuses)
Description
Provides educational outreach for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences across the state to increase access to high quality primary care. Supports 8 regional teaching centers, which are former Area Health Education Centers (AHECs), 6 of which operate Family Medicine Residency Programs and Family Medical Clinics. Serves as clinical study sites for UAMS-affiliated faculty to expand research opportunities throughout Arkansas.
