$1.5 Million Grant Will Advance Indigenous Data Sovereignty Worldwide

Highlights recent funding for advancing Indigenous data sovereignty through a worldwide system of policies, practices, and collaborative norms. Led by U.S. Indigenous co-investigators, the project will create the Indigenous DataSET which will offer researchers and institutions guidance through training, processes, and documentation as well as support current indigenous communities' data scholarship and standards. The project aims to advance science in service to communities.
