Notice from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) seeking comments on an information collection request titled "Transitional Coverage and Retroactive Medicare Part D Coverage for Certain Low-Income Beneficiaries through the Limited Income Newly Eligible Transition (LI NET) Program." The LI NET demonstration consolidates administration of transitional and retroactive Part D coverage for eligible beneficiaries to a single Part D sponsor and provides an exception to the 36-month maximum period of retroactive enrollment if there is a Medicaid determination within the last 90 days that confers Medicaid eligibility going back further than 36 months. Comments are due by September 5, 2024.
