Maine Dental Education Forgivable Loan Program
Forgivable loans for Maine residents pursuing dental education who agree to practice in an eligible facility in an underserved area upon completion of their degree.

Maine Health Professions Loan Program
A need-based, competitive loan for Maine students pursuing postgraduate medical, dental, and veterinary education.

Patricia D. Klingenstein Grants Program
Grants to improve the health of underserved children in Maine, with a preference for programs working with children who are low-income and/or live in rural areas.

Dr. Wendy J. Wolf Health Leadership Award
Award for an employee of a nonprofit organization in Maine that has demonstrated leadership in the areas of promoting access to healthcare for uninsured or underserved Maine people and/or in improving the health of people in Maine.

Workforce Opportunity for Rural Communities (WORC): Grant Initiative for the Appalachian, Delta, and Northern Border Regions
Grants for projects in the Appalachian, Lower Mississippi Delta, and Northern Border regions that will provide career, training, and support services to eligible individuals in counties and parishes and/or areas currently underserved by other resources. Grants will support workforce development activities that prepare dislocated workers, new entrants to the workforce, and incumbent workers for good jobs in high-demand occupations aligned with a regional or community economic development strategy. High demand industries include manufacturing, IT, healthcare, and energy.

Rural Northern Border Region Outreach Program
Funding to promote the delivery of healthcare services to rural, underserved populations in the rural Northern Border Regional Commission (NBRC) Region of Maine, New Hampshire, New York, and Vermont.

Maine Charity Foundation Fund
Grants for community-based transportation programs that provide transportation and/or delivery services to older people with limited or no access to transportation. Projects in rural areas are a priority.

Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund
Funds programs that work in the areas of affordable housing and shelter, education and youth development, environmental stewardship, workforce, and human services within the Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation service area.

Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation Grants
Grants for projects in Maine that address the underlying causes and consequences of social and environmental problems.
